Hirer’s Information (December 2024)

The digital lock

When payment has been received for your booking you will receive a door code via email for the digital lock. This will enable you to access the hall during your booked times.

Lock Operation information – do not touch the round button at the top of the lock. Please use the back of your hand to gently tap the main section of the lock ‘waking it up’. A keypad should now be displayed.

Enter your code plus the hash key.

Turn the handle promptly to open the door.

The door is self-locking so if you are expecting others please use the door stay to keep it open.

Heating & Hot water

The heating is on a schedule so the hall should be warm during your booking.

The hot water for both the toilets and the kitchen sink is controlled via a timer switch to the right of the kitchen sink. Turn this timer to maximum when you arrive.

Gate & Doors

Ensure the gate is securely propped open on arrival and closed after the last person in your party has left.

There is approximately space for 25 cars in the car park

If you have opened any windows please ensure they are closed before leaving.

Before you leave please double check all doors are properly closed and locked, this includes the fire exit doors in the hall and the left side of the main front door. Please ensure this door is properly bolted before you leave.

Lights

When entering the doors to the hall there are a couple of light switches to the right side of the doors to give you some light.

The main light switch for all the lights is located on the right side of the stage just behind the curtains.

Chairs, Tables

The chairs and tables are in the storage area on the right side of the hall by the men’s toilets. Additional chairs are located on the stage.

There are approximately 50 mugs plus other cups, plates and cutlery

There are around 100 chairs and 12 large and 12 small tables.

Kitchen

You are free to use the kitchen facilities including the ovens however please ensure they are left clean after use.

Please also sweep and wipe all surfaces.

Please ensure all appliances (except the fridge) are switched off after use.

Please take all your rubbish home with you.
